Born and raised in Southeast Asia, I have come to find my home in the PNW. With every passing year, I count myself more fortunate to have so many opportunities to explore, adventure, learn, and grow. With every layer I peel back on this world, I find more richness, sometimes bitterness, but usually sweetness. I hope to never lose astonishment and wonder during my finite trips around the sun.
Many years ago one wintry morning, I decided to embark on coaching, and enrolled in the Leadership that Works program, because I was convinced that my calling in life is to work with individuals who truly wants to lead a fulfilled and passionate life. The decision was long time coming, but it consolidated a basic principle that I strive to embody in life: you have only one life on this earth, live it to the fullest! Whatever it is in your heart that you are dreaming of – even if it’s just currently an inkling of an idea of a dream – move towards it! Be daring. Be bold. Be frightened. Make mistakes. Be stupid, even. But whatever you do, don’t be “stuck” and don’t be “regretful”.
I’ve learned the hard way that true contentment comes from nothing more than identifying what’s most important to you in life, and clearing the path so that you start a life that reflects that.
